Annette “Annette_15″ Obrestad on a roll

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

Annette_15It’s been a good year so far for the young woman known online as “Annette_15″.

Earlier this she booked a final table at the Aussie Millions Main Event for nice score, which topped her trip ‘down under’ after she took down one of the preliminary events earlier in the tournament schedule.

But it’s the news that’s she has now signed to one of online pokers ‘big guns’ Full Tilt Poker as one of their red name pro’s that has everone talking. It’s justification for the worlds youngest person (girl or boy) to win a WSOP bracelet, when she took down the 2007 WSOPE Main Event for a huge score.

As if this is enough for Obrestad, this weekend gone, she booked another nice win online by taking down the PokerStars Sunday 500. The online phenom grabbed a bit of momentum beating respected young pro Christian “charder30″ Harder heads-up to earn the $87,400 first-place prize. The $530 buy-in $500k Guaranteed event drew 997 this week.

It’s all comes as good news for Annette, as she prepares to go into her first WSOP outside of Europe. Who knows, we may be writing a few weeks / months time about how Annette took down more bracelets and tournament wins to her already impressive resume.
